Thank you to those who attended the RESDC General Membership Meeting on April 18 at the Serra-Mesa Kearny-Mesa Library. We hope you found it informative and enjoyed hearing from our speakers! First we heard from Jill Swaim, Road Scholar Ambassador, about the educational travel programs Road Scholar offers. She shared some of her favorite travel adventures, stories, and photos. Road Scholar Mission Statement: Road Scholar inspires adults to learn, discover and travel. Our learning adventures open minds to new ideas and deepen understanding of oneself and of the world’s peoples, places, cultures, history and environments. A true university of the world, not-for-profit Road Scholar’s meaningful – often transformational – educational adventures engage people for whom learning is the journey of a lifetime.

Estate planning is not just the process of deciding who gets your property when you pass away, but also making sure that if you are ever unable to make decisions for yourself, the people whom you designate to take care of you have the legal authority to do so.
