If you have aging parents, care for a frail or ill spouse, or provide help to a family member, then yes! Can I Ask Questions? Participants have the opportunity to pose questions. Where? Any computer with internet access. These live, interactive seminars are easy. I’m interested. What’s next? | Intergenerational Games
| Come join the fun at the Intergenerational (IG) Games! IG Games, run by the County's Aging & Independence Services and community partners, is seeking older adults to participate! During the IG Games, active adults (age 50+) are teamed up with children (usually elementary-school age) for a half-day of educational and physical activities. The activities are typically non-competitive and not rigorous. The mission of the Games is to increase mutual understanding and respect between generations and to promote healthy, active, life-long behaviors. Active adults serve as role models for youth and help to dispel stereotypes about the abilities of older adults. The next IG Games will be on Thursday, October 11, 9:30am-12:00pm at the La Mesa Arts Academy (4200 Parks Avenue, La Mesa 91941). Pre-registration required. View the flyer for more information.
