| This Pop-Up Senior Care Coaching Clinic program was developed in response to seniors and families frustrated by "dead-end" referrals ("dead-ends" include ineligibility for programs, limited confidence to narrow down choices and/or verifying quality) and feedback from senior community centers unable to handle the volume of inquiries from older attendees. What the community needed was a program exclusively focused on empowering and educating older adults how to successfully navigate the aging network and troubleshoot dead ends.  Schedule a free one-on-one conversation with a gerontologist, someone who specializes in the study of aging issues and systems. These coaching clinics are held by the nonprofit Consumer Advocates for "Residentical Care Facilities for the Elderly" Reform (CARR). After carefully listening to you, a CARR gerontologist will talk with you about your options and possible solutions to issues, offer self-help resources, and empower you to take the steps necessary to achieve your objectives.
